Darrin has 20+ years in the Medicare healthcare insurance field, educating clients about Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans, so they can live their best lives. He is compassionate and truly cares about the well-being of others, and this is the reason he enjoys educating others, so they can enjoy life.

I have been working with and for Medicare Advantage Plans for over 20 years.
Prior to becoming an Independent Insurance Agent, I worked as an employee for one of Arizona’s leading Medicare Advantage Health Plans for over 16 years. Early on in my career I worked as a Territory Manager in Northern Arizona, Medical Claims Examiner, Consumer Specialist and a Customer Service Representative. In 2012 the company had a statewide lay off. This could not have happened at a better time in my career. As a single parent of 2 children, I felt it was time for me to spread my wings and become a broker. The severance package I received allowed me to do just that. In June of 2012. Being a broker allows me to service the unique needs of the individual, not the needs of the insurance company. I am able to offer you a non-bias consultation of the insurance plans that are available to you.

Carissa is a dedicated and experienced professional with over 10 years of licensure, initially specializing in Life Insurance and later expanding expertise to encompass Medicare plans. With a profound passion for serving the elderly and underserved communities, Carissa brings a compassionate approach to financial and healthcare planning.

Buddy began his career in the medical device field in 2017 with Dexcom, a leading CGM manufacturer, after studying electrical engineering at Arizona State University. As a sales representative, he found fulfillment in helping elderly and pediatric diabetes patients access CGMs.

When Dexcom relocated its sales department to California in 2019, Buddy chose to stay in Arizona, eventually earning his health insurance license to better assist seniors with Medicare coverage for CGMs.

Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Buddy thrived in telephone-based Medicare sales and now, with four years of experience, joins Medicare Health Plan Advisors to build more in-person relationships. Outside of his work, Buddy performs around 100 shows a year as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist in his country band, the Buddy Martell Band.
